Re Parallel Universes: Although we'll never be able to experience parallel universes other than the one we're in at the time, it is a legitimate mathematical theory, and no mathematical theory has ever been disproved (unless the math was bad). For example, E=mc2 was derived mathematically before anyone imagined that matter and energy were the same, and neutrinos were mathematically proven long before finally discovering them a couple of years ago. So there really is some truth to parallel universes.
